View DetailsHow advanced measurement technologies are supporting the "New Uzbekistan" development strategy in manufacturing, textiles, and heavy industries.
In recent years, the Republic of Uzbekistan has undergone a massive industrial transformation. Backed by government initiatives aimed at diversifying the economy and attracting foreign direct investment, regions such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Andijan, and the Fergana Valley have evolved into vibrant manufacturing hubs. From high-speed cotton spinning mills to automotive assembly lines and advanced chemical plants, the call for modernization has made precision measurement tools indispensable. Among these, frequency meters—particularly those integrated into sonic belt tension measurement systems—have emerged as critical quality control instruments.
As a leading exporter and supplier serving the Uzbekistan market, we recognize that local industries are transitioning from traditional mechanical estimation methods to digitalized, highly precise solutions. In textile processing, for instance, even a minor deviation in the vibration frequency of a drive belt can lead to yarn unevenness or machine downtime. By supplying state-of-the-art frequency meters and sonic tension gauges, we empower local factory managers to achieve international standards of efficiency, reducing maintenance overheads and preventing costly production interruptions.
Uzbekistan is globally renowned for its cotton production. However, the current economic shift focuses on processing raw cotton locally into high-value textiles and garments. Modern spinning frames and looms operate at extremely high speeds. The belts driving these spindles must maintain a precise tension level. Our sonic frequency meters measure the natural acoustic frequency of the vibrating belt, allowing maintenance teams in Tashkent and Fergana mills to adjust tension to exact specifications. This guarantees consistent spindle speed, directly improving yarn quality and minimizing belt wear.
The automotive sector in Uzbekistan, centered around major production facilities in Asaka, requires strict adherence to assembly guidelines. Automated robotic arms, conveyor systems, and engine testing rigs rely on belt drives. Over-tensioned belts strain bearings and cause premature failure, while under-tensioned belts slip and disrupt synchronization. Utilizing our U-508 and SK-608 sonic tension meters—which operate as advanced acoustic frequency analyzers—ensures that every drive system is calibrated to the exact Hertz required for optimal performance.

View MoreUnderstanding the physics of acoustic frequency measurement for belt and ribbon materials.
Traditional belt tension measurement methods relied on physical deflection—applying force to the belt and measuring how much it bent. This method is highly subjective, prone to human error, and difficult to perform in cramped machinery compartments. Modern industrial plants in Uzbekistan are rapidly abandoning these obsolete techniques in favor of sonic frequency meters. But how does this technology work, and why is it categorized under precision frequency instrumentation?
When a drive belt is plucked or tapped, it vibrates at a specific frequency determined by its mass, span length, and the tension applied to it. This vibration creates sound waves. SANKER's sonic belt tension meters utilize a highly sensitive acoustic sensor probe to capture these sound waves. The internal microprocessor filters out background industrial noise, analyzes the wave pattern, and accurately calculates the natural frequency of the belt in Hertz (Hz). By inputting the belt's mass and span length into the device, the frequency is instantly converted into tension values (Newtons or Pounds). This non-contact, acoustic frequency measurement is repeatable, highly accurate, and takes only seconds to perform.
Maintenance personnel do not need to physically press down on heavy machinery drives. Placing the probe close to the belt and plucking it is all it takes, ensuring operator safety in high-voltage or confined environments.
With options for wired or wireless PC communication, measurements can be logged for predictive maintenance programs, helping factories track belt degradation over time.
Whether measuring thick industrial V-belts or delicate carbon fiber ribbons down to 0.3 cN, our frequency meters offer unmatched precision across wide measurement ranges.
